๐ŸŸ Omega-3 vs Omega-6: Why Balance Matters!

Most people have heard of Omega-3 but do you know WHY theyโ€™re so important? ๐Ÿค” Letโ€™s break it down!

โœ… What are Omega-3s?
Theyโ€™re essential fatty acids your body canโ€™t make on its own. They help fight inflammation, support heart & brain health, balance hormones, and keep your cells healthy!

โœ… What are Omega-6s?
Theyโ€™re also essential fatty acids, BUT they tend to be โ€œpro-inflammatoryโ€ when consumed in excess. A little is necessary for things like wound healing & immunity, but too much can tip the scale toward chronic inflammation.

โš–๏ธ The Balance Problem

Our ancestors ate Omega-6 and Omega-3 in about a 1:1 to 4:1 ratio
โžก๏ธ Today, the typical Western diet is closer to 15โ€“20:1๐Ÿ˜ณ (WAY too much Omega-6 from processed foods, fried oils, and grain-fed meats).
This imbalance drives inflammation, joint pain, heart disease, and even brain fog.

๐ŸŸ Where to Find Omega-6s? (Pro-Inflammatory in Excess)

* Vegetable oils (soybean, corn, sunflower)
* Fried/processed foods

You need both, but you want MORE Omega-3s & LESS Omega-6s to lower inflammation and protect your heart, brain, and joints.

The Last Healthy Generation Before Processed Food Took Over... ๐Ÿ›‘

Before food became industrialized, conditions like obesity, fatty liver disease, and type 2 diabetes were dramatically less common. There are people alive right now who remember a completely different food world.

Think back to how it used to be:

๐Ÿณ Breakfast was just eggs.
๐Ÿฅฉ Dinner was meat, vegetables, butter, soup, potatoes, and homemade bread.
๐Ÿฅ› Kids drank water and milk rather than fluorescent, sugar-laden drinks.

Back then, people weren't obsessing over protein bars, calorie apps, "heart-healthy" snack packs, or eating six times a day.

And the health stats reflected that:

- Type 2 diabetes was dramatically rarer.
- Fatty liver disease in children was almost unheard of.
- Extreme obesity was uncommon enough that it stood out.

Then, the food system changed. Slowly at first, and then all at once.

Real meals became packaged products. Whole ingredients were replaced by artificial chemicals. Sugar started appearing in everything, and ultra-processed food quietly replaced the diet humans had thrived on for generations.

Today, the results are everywhere. So many people spend their days feeling hungry all the time, completely exhausted after meals, unable to stop intense cravings, and trapped in bodies that feel inflamed, foggy, and overwhelmed.

The strangest part? We often blame ourselves. We take the blame for struggling inside an environment that has been specifically engineered to override our natural appetite, reward pathways, and satiety signals.

Victory off the scale!

To give you a little context, I have been a type 2 diabetic for 7 years and it has been a tough time managing my carb intake. Iโ€™ve experienced some ups and downs trying to figure out which foods had an effect on my blood sugar. When I was diagnosed, my A1C was 13.2. My doctor prescribed me different medications and I finally managed to lose 80 pounds. So I need to find something to maintain this weight loss.

My doctor prescribed a drug that the pharmacy couldn't supply for 2 weeks. It was a great opportunity for me to really see the effectiveness of the drops. I have managed to maintain my weight loss for over 2 weeks!! My blood sugar levels were excellent! I'm happy to announce my A1C is 5.5 and my doctor advised me to come back in a year, no more appointments every 3 months!!!

I no longer need to take shots for diabetes and I can maintain my weight loss. I am in remission from Type 2 Diabetes. My husband also uses the drops and has lost 2 lbs a week consistently for the past month. We are extremely happy with our results.
