TGIF and happy to you! I’ve had the pleasure of testing out Filling Good from for almost a month now and I have some thoughts.

🐝 Silky lightweight texture.
🐝 Layers well with other skincare and under makeup.
🐝 Provides a good level of hydration that lasts all day.
🐝 Has a weird smell that I can’t place. I don’t particularly love it, but it dissipates quickly.
🐝 I wouldn’t say my fine lines and wrinkles have minimized much while using this, but I do feel as though my skin is a bit smoother overall.
🐝 Would repurchase.

How do you reuse empty product containers? Many of mine get recycled, but where I can, they get used for propagating new plants or growing smaller succulents. Inspired by .roo.review and so thankful for it. This has been a welcome trend for my plant babies.

It’s Nurses’ Week! For those of you who are newer to my page, I’m a high risk labour and delivery nurse. Pregnancy and labour come with a long list of risks and potential complications, and that list grows exponentially when mom or baby are really sick or the baby is very premature. It’s a busy job. It can be a chaotic job. It often is a hard job. And I love it.

It’s true what they say, you don’t go into nursing because it’s easy money. 😂😂😂 Far from it. But it is rewarding and so cool to be there for patients and their families during some of the biggest moments of their lives.

COVID has drastically changed what the delivery unit looks like. Families can’t be there to welcome their new grandbaby, niece, or nephew. Sometimes partners have to go home and miss the delivery of their own child if the mom tests positive. Sometimes moms are back and forth between us and the ICU. But for all the grief and frustration, it can still be a magical place and a bright ray of positivity. That’s what I try to focus on.

To all the nurses out there, whatever the struggles in your job, I wish you the very happiest Nurses’ Week! You are badass people who deserve so much more credit than you receive. Keep being the awesome life-saving heroes that you are!
