We often measure wellness by how much we accomplish.
But what if we started measuring it by how well we recover?
Our nervous system works around the clock to regulate sleep, stress, digestion, hormones, and energy. When stress becomes constant, our bodies don’t simply “get used to it”—they can begin showing signs that something needs our attention.
In this week’s Modern-Day Doulas article, we explore why nervous system health has become a growing priority in women’s wellness, what current research tells us about chronic stress, and practical ways to support long-term wellbeing.
I’d love to hear from you:
What helps you feel truly rested and restored?

Have You Been Called to Serve Others? How my healing journey became a sanctuary for other women.
07/20/2026
I think many of us spend years looking for purpose without realizing that our lives have been preparing us for it all along.
The things we've survived.
The lessons we've learned.
The experiences that changed us.
Sometimes those very things become the places where we are called to serve.
Today's Daily PILL is a reflection on healing, purpose, and the possibility that your story may become someone else's source of hope.

I don't believe people are looking for less healthcare.
I think they're looking for more support.
More education.
More prevention.
More conversations.
More opportunities to care for themselves intentionally.
The future of healthcare is becoming more collaborative, and I think that's beautiful.
Today's article explores why holistic wellness is no longer sitting on the sidelines and why so many people are looking for whole-person care.

Not everyone you help will return.
Not every client will leave a review.
Not every student will send a thank-you message.
Not every person whose life you touched will tell others about it.
But some will.
And those few stories matter.
Tomorrow's Daily PILL is a reminder to stop focusing on the nine who didn't return and start appreciating the ones who did.
Because the people who come back with gratitude often become your greatest testimony.

What if your body has been trying to get your attention?
Fatigue.
Painful periods.
Mood changes.
Stress.
Sleep issues.
For so many women, these things become normal because we’ve never been taught to listen to our bodies.
Today’s article is a reminder that our bodies are always communicating with us—and learning that language can change everything.

Before I became known as a fertility doula, I simply knew I wanted to help people.
Over the years, I've learned that a doula's work goes far beyond birth.
We educate.
We advocate.
We listen.
We create safe spaces.
We guide.
My latest article, We Were Called to Guide, is a reflection on purpose, community care, and why I believe doulas have always been an essential part of our villages.
I'd love for you to read it and let me know what resonates with you.

What if your body has been trying to tell you something... long before your periods changed?
New research suggests that many of the earliest signs of perimenopause may appear years before menstrual changes begin.
Poor sleep.
Mood changes.
Stress.
Hot flashes.
As women, we're often taught to push through these symptoms instead of paying attention to them.
Today's article is a reminder that your body deserves your curiosity—not your criticism.
As a doula, I've also seen how intentionally slowing down, creating space for rest, and supporting the nervous system can make a meaningful difference in how women feel.
I'd love for you to read today's reflection.

For years, I thought the lesson was about the nine who didn't return.
Today, I see it differently.
I'm grateful for the one who did.
As I reflected on that passage of Scripture, I couldn't help but think about every woman who has taken the time to send me a review, write an email, leave a testimonial, record an interview, or simply tell someone else about her experience with Yoni Spa.
Thank you.
Your words have encouraged me more times than you'll ever know.
More importantly, your story has helped other women find the courage to take the first step toward healing, education, and support.
Sometimes one testimony becomes another woman's reason to believe.
That's the heart behind today's Daily PILL.
If you've ever wondered why your story matters, I hope you'll take a few minutes to read it.

If we've worked together and you'd like to share your experience, I'd love to hear your story. Every review, testimony, and interview helps another woman know she's not walking this journey alone.
Thank you for being part of this community. ❤️
