Before you panic over the passes… let me explain 👀🔥
This client is transitioning from relaxed to natural hair and wanted her new growth to be more manageable during the process. With a smoothing treatment, controlled passes are required to properly activate and seal the treatment, it’s not the same as repeatedly flat ironing untreated hair.
The goal wasn’t to remove her texture. It was to soften the line where her natural hair and relaxed hair meet, reduce frizz and make managing two different textures a little easier.
