Though new to the industry, Marika has been pursuing her love of fashion and beauty from a very early age. Beginning with countless hours of online tutorials on hair, nails and makeup, she started honing her skills long before she decided to make this life-passion a career. Being interested not only in the art, but also in the sustainability of the Industry, Marika decided on Aveda for her formal education. Since enrolling in Aveda’s Cosmetology Program in Victoria BC, Marika has excelled in all areas, particularly colour application. Though her background and natural aptitude are invaluable to her service, it’s Marika’s calm, cheerful demeanour, and natural vision that truly set her apart from other young stylists. She has the ability to know just how to assist guests with their decisions regarding style direction, and is able to meet them on their emotional level, guaranteeing the entire experience is both productive and enjoyable!
