🍁 Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦
A few years ago, I arrived in Canada carrying little more than a dream and a willingness to work hard. Today, I’m celebrating something I never imagined back then—building my own Ayurvedic skincare brand, meeting incredible people at local markets, and sharing products made with love and intention.
Canada has given me the opportunity to grow, learn, and turn a passion into something real. Every person who has stopped by my market booth, purchased a product, shared kind words, or supported Tanuh has become part of this journey.
This Canada Day, I’m celebrating not just this beautiful country, but the community that has welcomed and encouraged me along the way.

Long before rose was a luxury fragrance, it was Ayurvedic medicine.
Rose is what Ayurveda calls "the heart opener" — used for centuries to soothe dry, dull, inflamed skin. Not trendy. Not new. Just ancient wisdom the beauty industry forgot.
We didn't forget. 🌹

I spent years in the skincare aisle doing what most of us do -- reading labels, watching reviews, trying the next thing that promised to fix my dry, dull skin.
And every time, the same pattern. One product would help with dryness but break me out. Another would calm breakouts but leave my skin feeling stripped.
Then I went back to what I grew up with. Ashwagandha. Rose. Neem. Ingredients my family had trusted for generations.
I started formulating. Testing. Adjusting. And for the first time, my skin actually felt balanced.
That's how Tanuh was born. Ayurveda-inspired skincare, because we believe skincare should feel like coming home to your own skin.

Every brand name tells a story. Here's ours.
Tanuh comes from Sanskrit. It means "body" - your physical form, your self.
I named this brand Tanuh because I wanted every jar to feel like a return to something real. Something rooted. Something your skin already knows.
In the Ayurvedic tradition I grew up with, caring for your body isn't about perfection. It's about balance. It's about using what the earth already gave us and trusting that it's enough.
