If you’d like to get away ,
Then I would highly recommend taking a trip in your own backyard .

The first thing I noticed in Quebec City was just how lively the city was at night
Obviously even more so in the city of Montreal .

Both cities are also extremely clean and both feel very safe .

The amount of preserved history and architecture in either city is worth the visit alone .

It really felt like I had gone somewhere much further away,

But w the relaxed feeling of still being in your own country and of course the Canadian dollar which was a nice bonus .

I learned about 10 essential French phrases before going and found the people quite friendly in general and most spoke enough English that language was never an issue.
