“Laser hair removal makes hair grow back thicker.”

❌ NOT TRUE.

This is one of the most common misconceptions we hear! Laser hair removal does not make your hair grow back thicker or darker. In fact, the goal of laser is to progressively reduce hair growth over time by targeting the follicle directly.

So why do some people think their hair looks thicker after shaving?

When hair is shaved, the blunt edge of the hair can feel coarser as it grows back. The hair itself is getting thinner with laser, not thicker!
