We're thrilled to introduce Nicki Fung, RAc to the Trikinetic family. π πΈ π
Nicki graduated from Tzu Chi International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2025 and is currently working towards her Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She offers thoughtful, individualized care rooted in TCM, with a special focus on stress, anxiety, and pain management. Her practice draws on acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, tuina, and moxibustion β all shaped around what each patient actually needs.
Nicki believes healing happens in a space where people feel genuinely seen and supported, and that patients are the experts of their own bodies. That's a value that fits right in here.
She starts seeing patients on July 16. Book with Nicki at trikinetic.janeapp.com.
If you've never used a spikey ball on your upper back, you are in for a discovery.
This is one of our favourite homecare recommendations at Trikinetic β and it takes about 60 seconds against any wall. Do this before bed, after a long drive, or whenever your upper back feels like concrete.
Save this and share it with the person who always has a tense upper back. π π π

Most tension headaches don't start in your head. They start in the suboccipital muscles at the base of your skull, in the upper traps, in the joints of your cervical spine. When these structures are overloaded β from stress, posture, or hours at a screen β they refer pain upward, creating that familiar band of pressure or throbbing around the skull. Massage therapy that addresses the neck is often the most effective treatment for recurring tension headaches. Save this for the next time someone tells you headaches are "just stress." π π

June 21 is a day to honour the cultures, contributions, and resilience of First Nations, MΓ©tis, and Inuit peoples across Canada. It's also the longest day of the year β a time many Indigenous communities have celebrated since long before it had an official name.
At Trikinetic, we're grateful to be on the unceded territories of the xΚ·mΙΞΈkΚ·ΙyΜΙm (Musqueam), SαΈ΅wxΜ±wΓΊ7mesh (Squamish), and sΙlilwΙtaΙ¬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
