Employing a century-old European colonial soap recipe traditionally used as an acne remedy, our Carbolic bar is naturally scented. The best way for assisting in repelling bugs is to just dry rub the bar directly on your skin.
We offer this bar in two styles the traditional and our veggie carbolic which is made without any of the colour and is now vegan.

We always like to source our ingredients as close to home as possible. For our Cucumber & Calendula bars, we source all of our cucumbers from Briwood, a farm market located in St. Thomas, Ontario. Thanks Briwood!

Due to the imposed tariffs we have taken the US website down for our American customers. This is a tough decision but we can’t afford to absorb the tariffs this time around. We will keep you posted if there are any changes as we monitor the situation - The Soap Works Team 🧼🫧
We source fresh, Ontario grown field cucumbers for our Cucumber & Calendula bars! 💚🥒🧼🫧
It’s truly a family effort from peeling, seeding and juicing every cucumber. It’s a little extra work, but totally worth it!

Our Liquid Laundry Soap is a concentrated, all-vegetable formula that delivers a powerful clean while being gentle on your clothes and the planet. It’s vegan, naturally softens fabrics, works in high-efficiency machines, is safe for colours, and is effective even in cold water.
How to use:
• 1 oz (1/8 cup) for a regular load
• 2 oz (1/4 cup) for heavily soiled laundry
Want to personalize it? Add a few drops of your favourite essential oil for a naturally scented wash.
