☀️ A little summer update…
This summer I’m trying something I’ve never been very good at—taking (most) Fridays off.
With my youngest home for the summer, I want to be intentional about making memories while she’s still little enough to want to spend time with me. ❤️
One of the biggest misconceptions about being self-employed is that we can “take time off whenever we want.” The reality is that if we’re not working, we’re not getting paid. So it’s really important to me to make the most of the time I do choose to take off.
I also have gallbladder surgery coming up in July, so I’ll be taking a few days away from the studio to recover.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has already pre-booked their appointments! It helps me plan my schedule, prepare for my time away, and keep things running smoothly.
If you already have an appointment, please do your best to keep it. And if you know you’ll need in this summer, I encourage you to book sooner rather than later. I genuinely hate having to tell people I don’t have room, and overbooking myself is a quick recipe for burnout.
Thank you all for your understanding, your support, and for allowing me to build a business that also lets me be present for my family. It truly means the world. 💜
A little behind the scenes…
Running a small business is so much more than the services you see. As someone with AuDHD, I’m constantly balancing appointments, messages, inventory, cleaning, bookkeeping, marketing, and making sure every client gets my full attention.
I schedule my days carefully, leaving just enough time for each appointment. When someone arrives late, it doesn’t just affect their service—it impacts every client after them, my cleaning time, my admin, and sometimes even my chance to eat.
I truly understand that life happens. But over the years, I’ve learned that constantly making exceptions came at the expense of my own mental health. I was burning myself out trying to accommodate everyone.
That’s why my cancellation and late policy exists. It’s not to punish anyone—it’s to respect everyone’s time, protect the quality of my work, and help me continue doing what I love.
Every boundary I have today came from learning the hard way what happens when I don’t have one.
Thank you to every client who respects my time and my policies. It helps more than you know. 💜

One of the most common things I hear after a FreezPen treatment:

Many people spend years hiding skin tags, sun spots, darker marks, or other small imperfections that can often be treated quickly and effectively.
FreezPen treatments are commonly used on areas that tend to bother people the most, including the bikini line, bra line, back, underarms, neck, and other areas where skin tags or pigmented spots can catch on clothing or affect confidence.
