A quick heads up for returning and new guests 🙌
July is nearly spoken for.
I have just a handful of appointments remaining, and most services are now booking 6+ weeks in advance, with the majority of new appointments falling into August.
If your next visit is already on your mind, now is the time to reserve it. The most requested times, evenings & weekends tend to disappear first, and I expect the remaining July availability to fill quickly.

The real reason your colour is fading so fast.
🛁 Hard water + mineral buildup:
A huge one, especially for blondes and brunettes trying to stay glossy. Mineral buildup can make hair feel dull, muddy, dry, or brassy. Be sure to clarify your hair at least once a month. Okanagan water is brutal
🔥 Heat styling without protection
Not just damage — it can literally eat away tone, fade glosses faster, and leave your ends looking hollow and cooked. Every Davines leave-in has heat protection, I have tons of options for you!
💜 Overusing purple/blue shampoo
These products arent calibrated for your hair, its just flag pigment. Overuse can leave hair looking dull, muted, and overtones. STOP ✋️
✨ Skipping gloss/maintenance appointments
Most “expensive-looking” colour actually comes from maintenance. Glosses help refresh tone, shine, softness, and overall balance between usual appointments. Your toner is only designed to last 15-20 shampoos.
🚿 Washing more than your hair actually needs
Frequent washing = faster fading.
Especially if youre using the wrong products. Colour protective home care is a must!
☀️ UV + vacation exposure
Sun, saltwater, and chlorine, will fade your colour surprisingly fast without protection. UV is different than heat protection. Wear a hat or be sure to use one of our amazing UV shields this summer!
Healthy-looking colour usually isn’t about doing one huge thing right.
It’s the small habits in between appointments that make the biggest difference.
