At Olakino Laser + Skin | Victoria B.C. , we use the Clarity II, which combines two wavelengths Alexandrite and Nd:YAG. Giving our technicians the ability to tailor treatments to different skin tones, hair types and treatment areas. The Nd:YAG wavelength also allows us to safely treat darker skin tones, when appropriate, which isn’t something every laser technology can do.
But having the right technology is only half of the equation. Knowing how to assess your skin, select the right wavelength and settings, and adjust your treatment as you progress is just as important.

Deirdre joins us as an Electrologist, Laser Technician + Aesthetician, bringing years of experience in the beauty and wellness industry and a background rooted in hands-on client care.
A graduate of the International Academy of Natural Health Sciences and Caruso International School of Electrolysis, Deirdre is also a retired Registered Massage Therapist — experience that has shaped the calm, thoughtful approach she brings to every appointment.
