The after, the inspo, and the before.
Kaela and Andrew planned their wedding in just three short months, her family was coming into victoria for the holidays so they organized a small candlelit ceremony when they knew family would be here to celebrate them. There was no time for her to have a trial with me so she sent me her inspo: a blushy look, with minimal on the eyes and a medium toned neutral lip.

Im at the tail end of wedding season, just two more to go this month (and assisting a friend with another) I do 45-50 weddings a year, I believe I actually have 51 this year, which is equal parts insane and amazing!

I’ll be taking a few less weddings next year, my kids are just getting a tiny bit bigger and a whole lot busier so I’m working on finding the impossible balance of work and family time but I’m aiming for closer to 40 weddings for my 2026 season!

I’m obsessed with with making subtle enhancements of people’s features and seeing what an impact it has. A gorgeous matte look for Kathryn on her wedding day 🤍

This all over bronzey lid look is becoming more and more popular I find, a lot of people are asking for it this year, especially bridesmaids! I always just use a matte bronzer with a fluffy brush, sweeping over the entire lid, up into the crease blending up quite high, just below the brow bone, and add some dimension with a smoked out brown liner at the root of the lashes ( perfect brown is my fav), with a dark brown shadow blended on top for a smooth transition. It’s fairly quick with big impact, and gorgeous on all eye colours🔥

The look VS. The AI inspo 🔥
I find more often than not this year the photo inspo I get is AI generated from Pinterest, this is totally fine as long as you know this isn’t a real person. it does give me a good idea of the look you’re wanting, but reaaaaaaally plays into the unattainable beauty standards we already face enough (enormous eyes and lips, zero skin texture, zero signs of aging etc). I can’t make you look like this computer generated human but I can see the colour preferences, and level of drama you’re wanting your makeup to have!
