Charmaine has over 30 years of experience in the world of beauty and esthetics, including the last 10 years as a medical esthetician and certified laser technician, working with a number of leading dermatologists in both BC and Alberta. Her expert skin assessment skills allow her to propose the best treatments and products.

Anyone else wondering HOW we’re this far into summer already? 😳
This is your friendly neighbourhood skincare PSA reminding you to apply your sunscreen daily! Ideally, this is always your last (and most protective) step in your AM skincare routine.
Given the weather and environmental concerns lately, we also wanted to add a few additional reminders:
1️⃣ It’s important to remember that sunscreen application is recommended even on overcast or rainy days! UV rays still pe*****te clouds, putting your skin at risk.
2️⃣ Wildfire smoke and that “overcast” effect might have you wondering if you still need to apply sunscreen. Short answer - yes! UV rays still pe*****te smoke, and your sunscreen is doing a very important job.
