When was the last time you were genuinely excited about your own life?

Not your kids’ lives. Not your next vacation. YOUR life.

Are you excited about your relationship? Do you love what you see when you look in the mirror? Does s*x still excite you? Do you wake up with energy and actually look forward to your day?

Or are you more excited about that glass of w**e at the end of the day because it’s how you’ve learned to cope?

Here’s my question.

If you keep doing exactly what you’re doing right now, how are you going to feel about your life a year from today?

And how different is that from how you felt a year ago?

Because getting older doesn’t mean you should be expecting less from life. If anything, I believe we should be expecting MORE.

At 54, I’m stronger, more confident and more excited about life than I’ve ever been.

But I didn’t get here by just changing my food or exercise.

I worked on my hormones, my nervous system, my habits, my mindset, my beliefs and the woman I wanted to become.

I got my spark back, I feel amazing, and I want that for you too. ❤️

That’s why I created my 6-month Midlife Glow Up Group Mentorship starting in November.

We’re going to work on your strength, nutrition, hormones, habits, mindset and the way you show up for yourself every single day.

Because what’s the point of looking better if you still don’t feel excited about your life?

This is about transforming how you feel about yourself and your entire life.

You deserve to feel strong, s*xy, confident and genuinely excited about what’s ahead.

❤️ Ready to get your spark back?

Do you believe the universe is always listening? ✨

I do. And I believe it more now than I ever have.

Over the last few years, I’ve gone through what I can only describe as a spiritual awakening. I’ve become so much more aware of energy, alignment, synchronicities and those moments that feel a little too perfectly timed to be coincidence.

On my way home from Bali in May, I had a stopover at the Taiwan airport and saw this beautiful designer purse.

Now, I NEVER go into designer stores. Anyone who knows me will laugh because I had been carrying the same purse for 18 years. 😂😂 It wasn’t even designer.

But for some reason, I walked in.

I loved this purse. The price was in Taiwan dollars, the salesperson was busy and I had a flight to catch, so I left.

For the next couple of weeks, I kept thinking about it. Then I let it go.

A little while later my mom passed away, and I cleared her belongings out of her apartment. Around the same time, a girlfriend from Europe was coming to Vancouver. FIFA was here and accommodation was crazy expensive. My mom loved this girlfriend, so I offered her my mom’s empty apartment.

While she was visiting, she came over for dinner and brought me a thank-you gift.

I opened it.

It was the purse.

From the EXACT store I had walked into in Taiwan.

I had never told her or anyone else about it.

I mean… what are the chances? ✨

Sometimes you put a desire out there and then let go of how it needs to come to you. You keep living, follow what feels right and stay open.

Sometimes the universe has other plans. ✨

And this is part of my Midlife Glow Up Group Mentorship too. Your glow up is about more than food and exercise. It’s your body, identity, energy, beliefs and how you want to show up in this next chapter.

Join us in November. Link in bio. ✨

What I Eat in a Day at 54

This is how I eat most days of the week. I have most of my meals on repeat because it makes it easy for me to know what I’m getting, hit my nutrition goals, and stick with what I know works for me.

I always front-load my day with protein. I start with a high-protein breakfast because it sets me up for the day and makes hitting my protein goal so much easier.

Then there’s my protein coffee — coffee, protein powder and frozen cauliflower blended together. 😂 The frozen cauliflower makes it thick and gives me an extra serving of veggies for the day. And yes… I’ve gotten used to the taste lol.

After my workout, I usually have my yogurt bowl for another good hit of protein and carbs to support recovery.

This particular day came in at 1,750 calories, 164g protein, 151g carbs and 57g fat. I generally aim for around 150g of protein a day, so this day was actually a little higher than usual. Many days my calories are closer to 2,000, depending on my activity and hunger.

And an important note: these are my calories, not the calories I recommend for everyone. How much you need depends on so many things — your height, weight, age, muscle mass, activity level, training, daily movement, goals, and whether you’re trying to lose, maintain or gain weight. There is no one calorie number that every woman in midlife should be eating.

I rarely drink alcohol, but I usually have something sweet. I enjoy it, and it typically makes up less than 20% of my calories for the day. The majority of what I eat is nutrient-dense food that supports my goals, but there’s absolutely room for food I simply enjoy too.

I’m not trying to eat as little as possible. I’m eating to build and maintain muscle, fuel my workouts, support my hormones, keep my energy high and stay strong and lean.

You don’t have to eat perfectly. You need to understand what your body needs, find what works for you, and do it consistently enough that it becomes your lifestyle.

And yes, mine includes something sweet. ❤️

The perfect Vancouver fall day to hike the BCMC. 🍂 It’s been a while and it felt amazing!!

One of my favourite things to do on a beautiful day is get outside and experience the beauty of the West Coast on foot.

This is why I care so much about staying strong and fit.

Of course I want to look good and feel good. But I also want to be able to climb a mountain, hike for hours, travel, explore and keep saying yes to the things I love.

There is something so empowering about knowing your body is strong enough to take you where you want to go.

At 54, this is what fitness means to me.

Strength. Energy. Freedom. And a body that allows me to keep living my life fully.

We live in one of the most beautiful places in the world and I never want to take for granted that I can put on my hiking shoes and go experience it.

This is why I train. Not just to live longer, but to live well. ❤️

Twenty-five years of friendship and we are celebrating. ❤️

I was going through photos this morning and came across this one and just felt so much gratitude.

Gratitude for having these women in my life, and for so many other amazing women who value the same things I do.

Here we are more than 25 years later, looking and feeling our best. And this doesn’t happen by accident. We have all made a conscious effort to make our health a priority day after day, year after year.

All three of us have strength trained consistently for more than 25 years. We’ve walked, hiked, and been in the gym, we put in the time. Sharon and I even ran the New York Marathon together.

And after more than 25 years of lifting weights, none of us is bulky or looks like a bodybuilder. We are strong.

Yes, we want to look good. Of course we do. But we want to feel good too. Strong, energetic, confident, healthy and able to keep doing the things we love as we get older.

Surround yourself with women who want the same. Women who value their health, want to feel good, want to be strong and encourage you to keep showing up for yourself.

Twenty-five years later, we’re still walking, still lifting, still laughing, still celebrating life and still making ourselves a priority.

Looking and feeling your best doesn’t happen by accident. It’s what you choose day after day, year after year. ❤️

Who gets the depleted version of you when you keep putting yourself last?

The version with less patience. The version who gets irritated more easily. The version who is exhausted, doesn’t feel great in her body, has lost some of her confidence and doesn’t have the energy she used to have.

We’ve been taught that putting everyone else first is selfless. I think we need to flip that conversation. Because when I feel my best, I show up as my best. I’m more patient. I’m happier. I have more energy. More confidence. More presence. More to give. The way I take care of myself affects the energy I bring into every room, every conversation and every part of my life.

I want to feel strong. I want to feel s*xy. I want to love how I look in my clothes. I want energy. I want to feel vibrant, confident and excited about my life. And at 54, I don’t feel guilty for wanting any of it.

This isn’t vanity. And prioritizing yourself isn’t selfish.

Continuing to put yourself last and giving everyone around you the depleted version of you isn’t serving anyone.

So ask yourself: Are you showing up as the very best version of you right now?

If the answer is no, it’s time.

My 6-month Midlife Glow Up Group Mentorship starts in November.

We’re not spending six months talking about becoming her. We’re becoming her.

Stronger. Healthier. More energized. More confident. Feeling s*xy again. Feeling like yourself again—but even better.

You’ll have my support, accountability and a group of women beside you who have decided that putting themselves last is no longer an option.

Your next chapter gets to be your best one.

Join us through the link in my bio.

When did s*xy become something you used to feel?

You remember that version of you. Playful. Confident. Magnetic. Energized. Excited about what was next.

And now? Maybe you just feel… MEH.

You’re doing all the things, showing up for everyone, getting through the days — but when was the last time you felt really excited to be YOU?

Your body has changed too. Your jeans are tight. You dress around your stomach. You avoid the photo. You don’t feel s*xy naked. Maybe s*x has moved way down the list.

And sometimes you look in the mirror and think, where did I go?

Maybe you’ve started believing this is simply what midlife feels like.

I don’t want that for you.

I’m 54, and I feel stronger, s*xier, more confident and more alive than I ever have. My spark isn’t behind me.

It’s bigger than it’s ever been.

And I want that for you too.

Join me in November for my 6-month Midlife Glow Up Group Mentorship.

I want you waking up with energy and excited about your life again. Stronger. Leaner. Feeling incredible in your jeans. Feeling s*xy naked. Wanting intimacy. Having better s*x. Taking the photo. Wearing the outfit. Booking the trip.

I want you to feel ALIVE again.

And we’re going deeper than your body.

We’ll work on your nutrition, strength, sleep and habits — but also your mindset, energy, standards, boundaries and identity.

Because this isn’t just about changing what you do.

It’s about changing who you believe you are.

We’ll meet once a week for six months, and I’ll support you, challenge you and hold you accountable as you become the woman who takes care of herself because that’s simply who she is now.

This isn’t about getting your younger self back.

It’s about becoming stronger, s*xier, more confident, more powerful and more ALIVE than ever.

Get your spark back.

We start in November. Link in bio to join me.

You can love your life and still secretly hate how you feel in your body. Both can be true.

You can be grateful for your family, your career and the life you’ve built and still stand in your closet feeling like crap because nothing feels good anymore. You can be confident in almost every area of your life and still hate having your picture taken. You can have a great life and still miss feeling s*xy, strong, energized and really good in your own skin.

And I don’t think that’s shallow.

I’m 54 and I have zero interest in accepting less because I’m getting older. Less energy. Less strength. Less confidence. Less s*xiness. Nope. I actually want MORE at this age.

And that’s what I want for you too.

Yes, we’ll talk muscle, protein, hormones, metabolism and longevity. But we’ll also talk about your identity, your energy and the story you’re telling yourself about getting older.

I don’t want to get you back to who you were at 30. I want you to love who you’re becoming NOW.

That’s going from Midlife Meh to Midlife Glow Up.

Strong. Sexy. Energized. Confident. YOU again.

Ready for yours? Link in bio. ❤️

Such a special night with my girl. 🤍 We went to see Gabby Bernstein tonight and so much of what she spoke about hit home — healing, trust, divine timing, meditation, and learning to stop trying to control every detail of how life is supposed to unfold. Trusting that sometimes things are happening for you, even when you can’t see it yet.

I’ve believed in this work for a long time, but there’s something really special about sitting beside my daughter and experiencing it together. We’re in two completely different chapters of life, but both learning, healing, growing and trusting what’s next.

A beautiful reminder that we can do all the things and still leave a little room for the universe to surprise us. ✨ Such a special night together. 🤍

Are you lifting weights… or are you actually getting stronger?

Because they’re not the same thing.

Here are 3 things I’d be looking at:

1. Are you lifting heavier than you were 6 months ago?
If you’ve been using the same dumbbells forever, it might be time to go heavier. Your body needs a reason to adapt. Progressive overload matters.

2. Can you do something you couldn’t do before?
A full push-up. More push-ups. A heavier squat. Getting yourself off the floor without thinking twice.

I LOVE this kind of progress.

3. Does your strength show up in your actual life?
Can you throw your suitcase in the overhead bin? Carry all the groceries in one trip? Hike a big hill and feel good doing it?

This is why I’m so passionate about women getting strong after 40.

Of course I want you to feel incredible in your jeans. I do too.

But I also want us strong, capable and doing things at 70 that other people think we’re “too old” to do.

I’m 54. I’m not backing off now.

I want to keep getting stronger.

If you want help changing your body AND getting stronger in midlife, I have a few spots open for private 1:1 coaching.
