Accepting criticism...
If I’m honest, it’s one of my biggest growth edges.

I’ve spent much of my life being taught to stay strong, achieve, perform, keep going, and stay quiet while proving my value through what I did.

But underneath all of that is a part of me that simply wants to shine.
My Leo Moon reminds me of that. It reflects my emotional need to express, create, and be seen. The challenge? When criticism comes, it can feel like that light is being dimmed.

I know that’s one of my shadows.
Not because I’m always wrong, but because somewhere deep inside, criticism became tangled up with my sense of worth.

My daughter lovingly reminds me of this from time to time. ☺️ Those moments aren’t always easy, but they keep me honest. They remind me that growth isn’t about defending myself—it’s about having the courage to admit when I’ve made a mistake, learn from it, and choose differently the next time.

Today’s waxing crescent Moon in Leo is only one day old. After the darkness of the New Moon, its light begins to return.
To me, that’s an invitation. To gently shine light on the parts of ourselves we’d rather avoid. To recognize our patterns. To stop judging them.

And to remember that awareness is always the first step toward change.
So today, I’m owning this one.
One day at a time.
One conversation at a time.
One more conscious response at a time.

What shadow are you learning to bring into the light? 🌙✨

Nature is wise.
Whether you believe in astrology or not isn’t really the point. Today we are met with a New Moon in Cancer, and whenever I look to nature, I can’t help but wonder what it might be trying to teach us.

We know the moon influences the tides of the ocean. If our bodies are made up of roughly 70–80% water, perhaps it’s worth considering that we, too, are influenced by its rhythm.
Today’s tide isn’t asking us to push forward. It’s inviting us to turn inward. To reflect and sit in stillness.

Before building what’s next, strengthen the foundation beneath you. Reflect on the lessons life has been placing in your path instead of rushing past them. Care for yourself. Rest without guilt. Create the kind of inner stability that allows everything else to flourish.

With Mercury also in retrograde, this isn’t a season for impulsive beginnings as much as it is an invitation to revisit what already exists. A pattern ready to be released. A conversation waiting to be had. A decision that deserves another look. Sometimes life doesn’t ask us to change direction. It simply asks us to see with greater clarity.

Nature doesn’t bloom in every season. It doesn’t fight the tide or rush the sunrise. It trusts the timing. Perhaps that’s the invitation for us today. Not to do more, but to rest and to pause so that we can become more rooted before we begin again.

Are you willing to listen?

Life has a beautiful way of offering us lessons—if we take the time to notice them.

This morning’s cottage country metaphor felt especially timely.

I intentionally kicked the still water, choosing to create ripples.

As I watched them travel outward, I noticed something. Midway through their journey, they seemed to tighten. The water became more concentrated, almost resisting the change, before gradually softening and returning to calm.

Isn’t that what happens when we choose to begin something new?

The moment we decide to change, we’re disturbing the patterns we’ve grown comfortable in. Whether it’s starting a business, ending a relationship, moving, healing, or simply choosing to think differently, we create a ripple.

Then comes the middle.

The part where doubt creeps in. Where the old no longer fits, but the new hasn’t quite settled. It can feel uncomfortable, even tempting us to return to what was familiar.

But maybe that isn’t a sign that something is wrong.

Maybe it’s simply what happens when life reorganizes itself around the new energy you’ve chosen to create.

If we trust ourselves through that in-between space—our vision, our intuition, and the reason we took that first step—the waters eventually settle into a new rhythm.

Sometimes, growth isn’t about finding calm.
It’s about having the courage to intentionally disturb the surface, trusting that the ripples are carrying you exactly where you need to go.

What familiar pattern are you ready to disrupt?

Many people end their day the same way they begin it.
Scrolling.
Responding.
Consuming information.

Then they wonder why their minds remain busy long after their heads hit the pillow.

Most of us already know what would help.
The challenge isn’t knowledge.
The challenge is choosing something different.

So I started with one small change.
Fifteen minutes before bed, I put my phone away.

Instead, I journaled, read a few pages of a book, or simply sat quietly with my thoughts.

Fifteen minutes.
That’s all.

At first, it felt insignificant.

But over time, those few minutes became a bridge between doing and being.

A signal to my mind and body that the day was complete.
My sleep improved.
My mornings felt calmer.
My thoughts became clearer.

One small habit created a ripple effect throughout my entire day.

The Lunar Alignment Method teaches us that transformation happens through rhythm and repetition—not perfection.

Lasting change isn’t built through dramatic overhauls.
It’s built through small choices made consistently.

If you’re ready to make simple shifts that create lasting transformation, reach out today.

Don’t let another day of unconscious habits keep you from the life you’re capable of creating.

The life you want isn’t built in a single day.
It’s built through the choices you make every day.

“Transformation doesn’t begin with a giant leap. It begins with one conscious choice, repeated until it becomes who you are. “
