🌞 When women come into V Lounge, the first thing I want you to feel is relief.
Relief you can talk openly.
Relief you are not the only one.
Relief you do not have to be embarrassed.
Relief that there are supportive options.
Relief that someone is actually listening.
Relief like you just made the trip to the cottage without stopping to p*e.
& relief like you no longer have to buy the expensive leak-proof bikini when the girls get together at the pool.
Because pelvic floor symptoms are not just physical.
They can affect how you feel in your body, your relationships, your sleep, your confidence, and your sense of freedom.
🌞 So before we talk about treatment, we start with care.
You are safe here.
You can ask questions here.
You can be skeptical here.
You can start exactly where you are.
Send us a message if you have questions and are not sure where to begin.

🩵 Your Tuesday Tip!
When urgency hits, the instinct is often to panic and rush.
But rushing can sometimes increase the feeling of urgency.
A gentle first step:
Pause if it feels safe.
Take one slow breath.
Relax your shoulders.
Unclench your jaw.
Walk steadily instead of sprinting.
This is not about ignoring your bladder.
It is about helping your nervous system feel less alarmed.
Pelvic floor self care can be simple, practical, and kind.
Remember this for the next time urgency catches you off guard.

🫶 If you have been blaming yourself for leaks, urgency, or feeling disconnected from your body, let this be your reminder:
YOU ARE NOT BROKEN.
Your body may be asking for support.
Your symptoms may be giving you information.
Your pelvic floor may need reconnection, recovery, and care.
So many women wait because they think it needs to be “bad enough” before asking for help.
But support is not only for crisis.
Support is self care.
Small changes can create meaningful impact.
And confidence is possible again.
Share this with a woman who needs to hear it.

🤷♀️ You know the routine well...
The quick leg cross.
The full-body brace.
The tiny internal panic.
The silent hope that this sneeze is not “one of those sneezes.”
And because so many women experience this, it can start to feel like something you just have to laugh off... (which can even make you leak AGAIN - UGH.)
Deep down, it can feel frustrating.
You want to laugh freely.
Move freely.
Go out in light-coloured pants without doing a risk assessment.
Feel confident in your own body again.
This is why pelvic floor self care matters.
Not because you need to be perfect.
Because you deserve to feel less on edge in your everyday life.
🙋♀️ if you have ever crossed your legs before a sneeze.

🙃 This was my breaking point.
I was potty training my son but I was also living with a stage three uterine prolapse and struggling to control my bladder.
And in that rushed moment, I p*ed all over the floor.
It was embarrassing.
It was emotional.
And honestly, it was my last straw.
Not because I was broken.
But because I realized I could not keep pretending this was just something I had to live with.
That moment led me to start researching, asking questions, and looking for real support for pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence.
Eventually, that search led me to Emsella.
And it changed the way I saw pelvic floor care.
Not as something women should feel ashamed of.
Not as something we should quietly tolerate.
Not as something that only matters when symptoms become unbearable.
But as self care.
I took this incredible tool and added coaching.
As support.
As education.
As a way back to confidence.
That experience is a big part of why V Lounge exists today.
Because I know what it feels like to have your bladder impact your daily life.
And I also know that support is possible.
You are not broken.
Common does not mean normal.
And you do not have to wait for your “breaking point” before asking for help.
If you are struggling with leaks, urgency, prolapse symptoms, or feeling disconnected from your body, start with a free consultation or take the Pelvic Floor Quiz.
We are here to support you, without shame.

💗 Pelvic floor self care is not always about doing more.
Sometimes it starts with noticing what your body is already doing.
Are you holding your breath when you stand up?
Are you clenching your jaw in the car?
Are you gripping through your glutes or belly?
Are you trying to “hold everything in” all day?
Your pelvic floor responds to pressure, tension, stress, breath, and posture.
Before we strengthen, we notice.
Before we push, we reconnect.
Before we judge, we listen.
That is where real support begins.
Try three slow breaths today and notice what softens.
