Puttin the old boys away for the season and bringing the young bucks out for their first moose hunt. Okay Jesse James, time to see how much of an outlaw you actually are.

🏔️✨ A LITTLE SOMETHING EXTRA FOR GLACIER FLOW ’27! ✨🎿

I’m super pumped to be bringing Jailin along for our Glacier Flow Yoga & Ski Retreat next June! 🙌

🤎 WHO: Meet Jailin! She’s from my hometown in Alberta and is joining us as a registered reflexology therapist, bringing her knowledge, hands-on tips, and love of reflexology to the mountains.

🌿 WHAT: We’ll explore simple reflexology techniques for the feet, hands, face and ears — practical little tools you can take with you anywhere. Think relaxed, hands-on learning, a little play and exploration, and new ways to support your wellbeing while we’re out chasing mountain views. 🦶✨

📍 WHERE: Glacier Camp, Kluane, Yukon Territory, surrounded by rugged backcountry, big skies and the wild beauty of the North.

☀️ WHEN: June 17–20, 2027 — four days under the summer solstice and the magic of the midnight sun! 🌄

💫 WHY: Because feeling good out in the mountains matters. We’re bringing together movement, breath, skiing, yoga, self-care and a little northern adventure to nourish both body and soul.

🎒 HOW: Come ready to explore! This trip welcomes skiers of all levels and yogis of all kinds. No need to fit a certain mould — just bring your adventurous spirit, an open heart and an open mind.

This is what Northern Nomad is all about: getting outside, learning something new, connecting with good people and finding a little magic along the way. 🏔️🤍

Who’s ready to flow, ski and soak up the midnight sun with us? 💫

Tiger, the wrangler cat. He’s not your everyday cat, he thinks he’s more of a dog. This day he followed us up the back hill and sat and watched for elk with us. Not always quiet but he did keep my legs warm. He’s been living in the mountains for 4 years now and going strong💪🏽

It’s been a busy September with crews and clients heading every which way. I think this is most of our favourite time of the year with all the fall colours and crisp mornings🌞

For this years Glacier Flow Ski n’ Yoga Solstice Trip, we are adding a second Yoga teacher to the mix! One of my favourite things to do is collaborating and adding in other styles of yoga to program. She is an Iyengar yoga teacher, certified with the Yoga association of Alberta (YAA 2012), Iyengar yoga association of Canada (IYAC 2014) and Kripa foundation Iyengar Yoga (2020). Glacier Flow 27 June 17-20, 2027. All levels of skiing and yoga welcome 🗻🧘 DM if you have any questions on the trip💥

If you got a good horse and a good dog, that’s all you can ask for. When you partner with these animals for your work, you are trusting them with your life many times over and over and they trust you. Sometimes they sense things before you do, not always lol. Sometimes they motivate you to keep going, knowing they ain’t gonna quit on ya and can get you through rough terrain, many miles and long days.

Looking for a guide and wrangler for a neighbouring outfit. Work starts ASAP until beginning of Oct. Also looking for a driver to give someone a lift on the Cassiar hwy if anyone is in the area. Must be ranchy, not afraid of hard work and already knows what the positions entail. Send me a message and I’ll pass the contact info along.

🌎 Northern Nomad is brewing up some international partnerships and is inviting you along🍃 although the North is my home and first love- True North Strong and Free. I can’t wait to explore other corners of our world.
Travelling has always been a love of mine. Between the languages, the learning, the food and music- there’s just so much to take in. Recently I have been in the planning process with various partners around the world to create something magical. Something that still has the grounded Northern Nomad vibe, yet experiencing something different and unknown.

Each trip will be different, built around the place and the people who live there. I’ll be working with local operators and trusted partners I know, so we can experience more than just the tourist version of a destination.

Think yoga, hiking, horses, local culture, good food, music, adventure — and plenty of room for whatever makes that particular place special.

Some will be rugged. Some will be a little more comfortable.
Every one will have that Northern Nomad spirit — connection, adventure, good people and getting off the beaten path.

I’ve spent years travelling, exploring and building relationships with people I trust. Now I want to bring those connections into Northern Nomad. This type of relationship building takes years and now I comfortable to open those doors.

I wanted to put this out there now, just so people can start preparing a budget for a future trip!

Where would you like to go adventuring abroad? 🌎🐎🔥
