Midlife crisis is a period of emotional or psychological questioning that some people experience as they move through middle adulthood, often around 40–60 years, though it can happen earlier or later.
Common signs may include:
Feeling dissatisfied with life despite things going reasonably well
Questioning marriage, career, identity, or past decisions
Feeling that time is running out or youth is slipping away
Suddenly wanting major changes—new career, appearance, lifestyle, or relationships
Increased irritability, restlessness, or withdrawal
Comparing oneself with peers and feeling behind
Seeking excitement or validation in ways that are unusual for the person
Increased anxiety about aging, death, finances, or purpose
Important: A midlife crisis is not a formal psychiatric diagnosis, and not everyone experiences one. Sometimes similar symptoms can actually be caused by depression, anxiety, relationship problems, burnout, or major life changes.
If you're asking because someone close to you is behaving differently, tell me what changes you've noticed, and I can help you understand whether they could fit a midlife transition or something else.

Have you ever been caught in a situation where you had absolutely nothing to say, so you could only whisper a secret prayer to God?
I still remember one such moment—an accusation that almost broke me into pieces.
I had just finished chapel service. It was early in the morning, and I had left the changing room and walked a few steps when I heard a voice behind me:
“Pamela, wait! Some money has fallen from my purse. You didn’t see it?”
I turned and said, “No, Aunty.”
Then she boldly told me, “But you were the last person to leave the dressing room.”
Her friend from the other side immediately added, “Yes, you were the last person. Check whether you mistakenly took it.”
My heart sank.
I was new at that station. I was newly married, and suddenly, I found myself standing there trying to defend myself against an accusation I knew nothing about.
The next words I expected to hear were, “Things have never gone missing here before.”
Within seconds, I froze.
I couldn't even find the right words to say.
So I whispered a sincere prayer in my heart:
“God, please save me from this disgrace. If this money is not found, I don't know who will believe me. Please, don't let this situation destroy me.”
And then…
A colleague who had just arrived looked at the woman and said:
“Madam… you left your purse here when you went to chapel. You forgot your purse.”
I took a deep breath.
The shame disappeared.
The accusation was gone.
And I walked away quietly, thanking God—not just for finding the purse, but for saving me from a situation I could not have defended myself out of.
Sometimes, you don't need many words.
Sometimes, all you can do is whisper a secret prayer.
And sometimes, God answers before you even finish praying. 🙏🏽❤️
What is that thing u were once accused of let's share our experiences
