After several business trips to China, I came home with one belief.

I genuinely believe there’s a lot entrepreneurs can learn from China. Not because it’s high-tech, but because of its mindset.

A mindset that values ex*****on over excuses, action over perfection, and continuous improvement over complacency. Success isn’t built overnight. It’s built by solving problems quickly, refining systems every day, and always asking, “How can we do this better?”

In today’s world, the winners won’t necessarily be the smartest or the biggest. They’ll be the ones who improve the fastest.

Today, as a doctor, entrepreneur, wife, and mother of two boys, I finally understand that the greatest lessons in life weren’t taught in classrooms. They were quietly demonstrated at home.

In a world where things are about instant gratification, everyone is quick to react, but there’s real strength in learning to pause.

A pause gives you clarity. A pause protects your relationships. A pause prevents words you’ll regret.

As parents of two boys, our goal isn’t just to raise successful children. My husband and I want to raise kind men, loving husbands, and present fathers. Because the home they grow up in becomes the blueprint for the home they‘ll build one day.

In many Asian families, boys are taught to ”be tough“, ”don’t cry“, and ”be a real man“. While resilience matters, so does emotional safety. Our sons should know it‘s okay to feel, express their emotions, and be vulnerable without shame.

A child’s mental health starts long before adulthood. It starts at home. Let‘s raise emotionally secure boys, not emotionally suppressed men❤️

看完给阿嬷的情书，心里感觉很酸但又很暖。

“做人要有情有义”，这句话啊岁数越大就越懂。这不只是道理，而是能走得长远的根本。

感谢那些在低谷时依然选择相信和陪伴的人。情义无价，有些恩情一辈子都还不完。

做人不忘本，要懂得感恩。

4D3N Guangzhou Family Food Trip 🇨🇳❤️

Just the 5 of us - Dad, Mom, my sister, my brother who flew all the way from Australia, and me.

This trip was something we had been looking forward to for a long time. Surprisingly, there isn’t a single portrait photo in my camera roll. 😂 Every photo is of food, food, and more food!

Over 4 days, we explored some of Guangzhou and Shunde’s most famous restaurants, including several Michelin-recognised spots. Safe to say, I came home in a complete food coma. 60+ dishes in 4 days 🤣

For those heading to Guangzhou soon, here are some places that we truly enjoyed:

From traditional Cantonese classics to refined contemporary Chinese cuisine, every meal was an experience on its own.

But beyond the amazing food, what I treasure most is the family time we shared together.

As we grow older, each of us builds our own family, career, and commitments. Opportunities to travel together with our parents become fewer and more precious. These moments remind me that time with our loved ones is something we should never take for granted.

No fancy itinerary. No tourist attractions. Just good food, endless conversations, plenty of laughter, and the people who matter most.

And honestly, that’s what made this trip so special. ❤️
