5 YEARS AS THE CHI PROFESSOR ✨

Today, I celebrate five years of The Chi Professor.

And when I look back, I don’t just see five years of massages, appointments, clients, or hours of work.

I see people.

I see every person who trusted me with their body, their pain, their stress, their vulnerability, and sometimes even the things they couldn’t put into words.

Five years ago, The Chi Professor was an idea, a vision, and a belief that massage could be more than a service. I wanted my hands to become a way of listening. I wanted every session to be intentional. I wanted people to leave my table not only feeling different in their bodies, but feeling cared for.

Along the way, this journey has shaped me too.

Every body has taught me something.
Every conversation has taught me something.
Every challenge has made me better.
Every person who came back, referred a friend, shared my work, encouraged me, or simply said, “Thank you, I needed that,” gave meaning to what I do.

There were moments of growth, uncertainty, exhaustion, discovery, and transformation. But through all of them, one thing remained constant: my love for this craft and my desire to keep learning.

So today, my biggest feeling is gratitude.

To every client who has ever trusted my hands — thank you.

To everyone who believed in The Chi Professor, recommended me, supported my work, followed my journey, or allowed me to be part of theirs — thank you.

And to the person I was five years ago, who decided to believe in this vision: thank you for starting.

Five years later, I’m still learning.
Still evolving.
Still listening.
Still putting intention into every touch.

And somehow, I feel like this is only the beginning.

For me, it begins long before anyone walks through the door.

It begins in the quiet ritual of preparation.

Fresh towels, carefully folded.

A room prepared with intention.

A moment of stillness before welcoming the next person who has entrusted me with their wellbeing.

These details may go unnoticed.

But they are never insignificant.

Because professionalism isn’t measured by what happens during the treatment.

It’s reflected in everything that happens before it.

Technique can be studied.

Pressure can be applied.

But intention…

Intention is something you choose, every single day.

Every person who lies on my table brings more than tight muscles or aching joints.

They bring their trust.

And trust deserves more than knowledge alone.

It deserves presence.

Respect.

And genuine care.

That is the pride behind every massage.

Not the treatment itself…
