Hi I'm Marie, perfumer and owner of Miskeo Parfums.

If you're new here, you might not know I've relocated back home to Montreal earlier this year, hence the paused online shop and social presence. I'm working really hard to reopen for Canadian customers later this fall, but with a lot of market instability (reciprocal tariffs and EU PPWR), my dear retailers continue to be the place to find our collections elsewhere (all linked in bio).

And since you're here, a bit about me:
• My favourite perfumers are Christopher Sheldrake, Olivia Giacobetti and Marc-Antoine Corticchiato
• I'm listening to whatever vinyls I've bought recently, currently Pink Floyd'd Meddle, Van Morrison's Moondance, John Denver's Greatest Hits
• I've studied anthropology, then became an art director, taught design in college, led teams in a multi-billion company, and taught myself perfumery as I was '"too old" to be accepted in any traditional schools. It's safe to say I'm creative, fearless and disciplined, but mostly I would describe myself as a storyteller.

Big transition ahead: I'm moving my lab and life from Berlin to Montréal in the spring.

Allégorie de l'été, material highlight.

24 naturals (72%) and 15 synthetics (28%) form the concentrate.

⚫ Myrrh: Balsamic licorice resinous note
⚫ Bitter orange: Dry bitter citrus note
⚫ Immortelle absolute: Spicy to***co floral note

So far, 'Allégorie de l'été' is our perfume with the highest concentration of naturals, especially citrus. Let's all hope EU regulations don't change too soon.

Ah the simplicity and earnestness of summer flings! The heat melting away any sense of reason or shame. That's the inspiration behind 'Allégorie de l'été'.

Pep helped me bring it to life with a very à propos Chinotto accord, sticky and bitter like the aftermath of your seasonal romance.

Your Body of Water is an olfactive interpretation of the eponymous novel by Siouxzi Connor, created in collaboration with the author, to adorn the space hosting her public readings and the bookmarks offered with her work.

Impressions: River water, mud, warm skin, algae, wet leaves, concrete.
