NICE TO MEET YOU • SANCHO TENA
In the old town of Durango, in the Basque Country, Perfumería Sanchotena opened its doors in 2021 with a simple conviction: perfume is not about volume, but about connection. Founded by María Eugenia Sanchotena, the boutique is a space for discovery — a place where niche and author fragrances are presented with the same care and attention as the people who come looking for them. Here, every visit is an experience: unhurried, personal, sensorial. Rather than following trends, Sanchotena curates brands with a distinct voice and honest craftsmanship, believing that the right perfume is found through conversation, not through a shelf. It's this philosophy of proximity and olfactory culture that makes Sanchotena a true discovery destination — and the perfect home for a brand like ART BRÜT.
Floral, unprofessional & emotionally incompatible.
You were an intern, she was an executive. Married. House. Garden. It all started between meetings and the coffee machine. The scent of raspberry, freesia, and water lily drifts through the office department. A hint of nothing, yet so memorable. Musk and cashmeran are the intimate touches under the conference table. More is kept secret in the office than said.
And on Fridays, when the computer finally goes silent, you can smell the forbidden on the pillow of a just affordable hotel room.
