HAIRSTYLING The name 'MU' stands for Manuel, born and raised in Madagascar and
Una originating from Latvia.
In 1997, they both met while attending the same apprenticeship
at the Berlin 'Vidal Sassoon Academy of Hairstyling'. After 10 years of working together at the Berlin 'Vidal Sassoon'-salon,
they set up their own enterprise named "MU Berlin" in summer 2007,
right in the heart of the fashionable district of Berlin-Mitte. What started off as a successful three-guys-band, grew rapidly
and needed a first expansion in 2009, and then another one during summer 2017, in order to meet higher demands. Now MU Berlin consists of six stylists, including 'Tony & Guy'- professionals
among others. They are now covering the full range of haircutting and colouring,
through to makeup, manicure and male grooming. Further services offered are
fashion styling and consultancy. The MU Berlin-team inhabits a state of the art, cutting edge space that welcomes their loyal customers with a warm and comfy, yet metropolitan flair. The clientele includes trendy artists, fashion people and media types,
as well as long-term "ordinary" local residents. MU-Berlin is one of few hair salons in Berlin that uses Kevin Murphy
and Davines hair products.
