Meyer Sound Europe

🎶 From Council Chamber to Live Music Venue
Together with our partner AV-rådgivaren, a unique project has taken shape in the Sessionssalen at Rådhus Skåne in Kristianstad.
The space serves as both the municipal council chamber for Kristianstad and the Regional Council, while also hosting banquets, events, and live music performances. That combination called for an audio solution capable of handling very different requirements with equal confidence.
As independent AV consultants, AV-rådgivaren contributed to both the room acoustics and sound system design, helping develop a new absorptive ceiling solution and evaluating acoustics and electroacoustics as one integrated system. From concept development and simulations through tender documentation and final inspection, the focus was always on creating a complete listening experience.
The installed system features: six LINA Line Array loudspeakers and two 750-LFC Low Frequency Control Elements as the main system as well as, four MM-4XP as front fills, four ULTRA-X40 loudspeakers and a GALAXY network platform
The result is a system that delivers exceptional clarity, dynamics, and precision, while maintaining the natural, effortless character that listeners have come to expect from Meyer Sound. Whether supporting council meetings, speeches, live bands, or celebrations, the room is ready for every occasion.

👉🏻 “But perhaps the most important thing is that the client is very happy with the result. The feedback has been extremely positive, both regarding the sound quality and the way the system performs across the room’s very different uses.” — Magnus Lindblad, AV Consultant

🎶 225.000 people, five Meyer Sound stages
PAROOKAVILLE returned to Weeze Airport in Germany July 17–19 for its 11th edition, welcoming about 225,000 “citizens” across the weekend for performances by more than 300 electronic dance music acts, led by headliners including Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, W&W, The Chainsmokers, and Timmy Trumpet.
Longtime production partner POOLgroup GmbH is responsible for design and full production across six of the festival’s main stages, with Meyer Sound systems deployed on Mainstage, Bill’s Factory, Cloud Factory, Power Plant, and Time Lab stages.

Together with Dansk Lydproduktion and PD Productions ApS , Meyer Sound helped bring Jonah Blacksmith's unique in-the-round concert in Tangkrogen, Aarhus, to life with a carefully designed sound system. The system comprised eight ULTRA-X80, eight ULTRA-X40, and eight 2100-LFC.
By combining a discreet visual footprint with precise system tuning, clear and consistent coverage was achieved throughout the venue. A cardioid low-frequency configuration minimized low-mid buildup on stage, helping create the acoustic space the music deserved.
