Preparing your skin for winter starts before it feels tight 🌬

The first sign of the heating season can be subtle. After washing your face, you want to apply something straight away. Your cheeks feel a little rougher. The routine that used to feel just right suddenly leaves your skin wanting more.

As temperatures drop outside and indoor air becomes drier, skin can lose moisture more easily. Autumn is a good time to boost vitamin absorption and care for your skin barrier - the thin outer layer that helps keep moisture in and external irritants out.

Our Rosehip Seed Oil is a small but thoughtful vitamin rich addition to your autumn routine. Its fatty acids help soften the skin and support moisture retention. This lightweight oil is particularly welcome when skin feels dry, rough or less supple than usual.

One useful detail: oil itself does not supply water to the skin. Apply it to slightly damp skin or after your moisturiser/ serum to get more from those few drops.

In the evening, after gentle cleansing, apply a couple of drops onto your damp face and neck. Start with a small amount and see how your skin feels. If it needs extra support, apply the oil over your usual moisturiser.

Consistency matters when preparing for winter. Gentler cleansing, adequate hydration and a few drops of oil may be all the adjustment your skin needs to feel more comfortable as the season changes.

A day filled with conversation. Dry indoor air. A throat that makes itself known with every swallow. The delicate tissues lining our mouth and throat work constantly on our behalf, yet we often notice them only when discomfort appears 🌿

Common sage (Salvia officinalis) has a long history of use for soothing irritation in the mouth and throat. European herbal medicine also recognises its traditional use for inflammation in these areas. Sage is also beneficial when coughing.

Reial’s Sage Tincture is handmade using locally grown sage we harvest ourselves, organic grain alcohol produced in Estonia, and water. Together, alcohol and water help extract compounds from the plant. The result is a herbal extract in a small bottle - one that deserves care in how much we use, how we dilute it, and for how long.

Moderation is part of plant wisdom. Natural products have their own appropriate doses and durations of use. With sage, choose short term, thoughtful use while giving your body the basics it needs to recover: rest, enough fluids, and a break for an irritated throat.

How to use

• For rinsing the mouth and gargling: dilute 5 ml of tincture in a cup of water and gargle up to three times daily. Spit out the solution afterwards. Always dilute before use.

• For internal use by adults: a total daily amount of 2 ml, divided into 2–3 doses and diluted with water. Use for up to one week.

• Keep the dropper clean and avoid contact with your mouth or tongue.

Sage tincture contains alcohol. Avoid use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have kidney disease 💚
