As Salon 37 continues to grow, we’re looking for the right person to join our team in Playa Flamenca.

We currently have two opportunities available:

• Part-time employed position
• Chair rental for an established stylist with their own clientele

We’re looking for an experienced stylist who is confident in cutting, colouring and styling, takes pride in their work and delivers a high standard of client care.

For the chair rental opportunity, we’re looking for someone with an existing clientele who would like to run their own business from a beautiful, established salon.

Fluent English is essential.

Salon 37 is a friendly, professional salon with a fantastic team and a great working environment. We’re looking for someone who will fit naturally into what we’re building here.

Kenny trained with Toni & Guy in Dublin and brings more than 20 years of experience in both colour and cutting.

He is also a three-time award-winning stylist, known for creating beautiful, wearable hair that feels polished without ever looking overdone.

From subtle colour refreshes and precision cuts to complete restyles, Kenny combines technical skill with a genuinely personal approach, taking the time to create hair that works for you, not just for the photo.

YOUR HAIR NEEDS SPF ENERGY TOO ☀️

We spend summer protecting our skin, then somehow expect our hair to survive weeks of Spanish sun, swimming pools, sea water and 30-degree heat through sheer determination.

It won’t.

Sun exposure, chlorine and salt water can leave hair feeling dry, faded and difficult to manage, particularly if it’s coloured or lightened.

A few summer hair rules from Salon 37:

• Rinse your hair with fresh water before and after swimming.
• Give the straighteners and heavy heat styling a break when you can.
• Keep coloured and blonde hair well conditioned and hydrated.
• Use products designed to protect hair during sun exposure.
• And embrace styles that actually work with the heat rather than fighting it.

For summer 2026, that last point is particularly easy. Hair is becoming softer, more relaxed and considerably less overdone. Soft bobs, bixies, natural texture, feathered fringes, relaxed layers and low-effort updos are among this summer’s biggest trends. Basically, hair that still looks good when the Costa Blanca humidity has other plans.

For longer hair, think loose buns, low ponytails, soft braids and effortless updos. For shorter hair, the soft layered bob and bixie are having a serious moment, with movement and texture replacing rigid, heavily styled finishes.
