Dear diabetes, in honour of World Diabetes Day, here is our break up letter and some very important information.

We’ve been “a thing” for way too long, and to be honest… I’m getting tired of you. You wake me up in the middle of the night, even when you know I have a big day coming.
I try to eat all the right things, but you a l w a y s complain. Like, always? And when I finally allow myself a little treat? Oh, suddenly you’re dramatic and unpredictable.

It’s exhausting being with someone who wants my attention 24/7. Someone who gets moody for no reason, keeps me on edge, and never lets me fully relax.

Frankly… it’s starting to feel like a toxic relationship.
I feel ready to move on, because honestly… I deserve so much better. I deserve someone who actually supports me.

So don’t take this the wrong way, but it’s not me, it’s you. Wishing you all the best. Not. Please don’t contact me again.
