We've always loved the idea of flower crowns.

A handful of wildflowers, woven together and worn with pride and delight, simply to celebrate summer, nature and being alive.

No expensive gifts.
No complicated rules.

Just flowers, friends, family, good food, laughter and gratitude for the longest days of the year.

There is something wonderfully human and infinitely nourishing about that.

🌸🇸🇪 Midsommar is Coming... Friday 19th June 🇸🇪🌸
There are some celebrations that belong to a country.
And then there are celebrations that belong to all of humanity.
Midsommar is one of them.

This beautiful Swedish tradition has been celebrated for centuries, with roots stretching back to ancient midsummer gatherings that honoured the longest day and shortest night of the year, the abundance of nature and the joy of community.
It's a celebration of light.
🌸Of flowers.
👩‍👩‍👦‍👦Of family and friends.
🐟Of sharing delicious, lovingly prepared homecooked food, laughter and precious moments together beneath the summer sky.

Long before modern holidays, before borders, politics or even many of the traditions we know today, people gathered to mark this special moment in the Earth's journey around the sun.

The summer solstice reminds us that, wherever we come from, we all share the same sky, the same seasons and the same extraordinary planet.
Perhaps that's why Midsommar continues to feel so magical.
It's not about presents.
It's not about rushing.
It's simply about appreciating life, nature and each other.

So this Friday, 19.6.26, whether you're dancing around a Midsommarstång (maypole), wearing a flower crown, enjoying pickled herring and new potatoes, gathering with loved ones or simply enjoying the warmth of a summer evening, we wish all our Swedish friends and families a truly wonderful Midsommar.
