📝 About the Role
You will support the Finance function across a range of activities, with responsibilities expanding as you grow:

📊 Financial Operations & Reporting
⚙️ Support the day-to-day running of the finance function.

🗓️ Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting (US GAAP & local requirements).

📑 Help prepare monthly management accounts, including identifying key variances and exceptions.

🔍 Support customer sales and profitability analysis to help drive business decisions.

💳 Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Fixed Assets
📥 Lead or support Accounts Payable activities (invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, payments).

📤 Lead or support Accounts Receivable activities (customer invoicing, collections, reconciliations).

🏢 Fixed Assets: Assist with fixed asset accounting (recording, tracking, and reconciling assets).

⚖️ Compliance, Tax & Governance
📁 Assist with statutory accounts and annual returns.

📝 Help prepare and submit VAT returns and other tax requirements on time.

🛃 Support duty drawback and other regulatory submissions.

🛡️ Contribute to maintaining a strong internal control environment, risk management, and good corporate governance.

🕵️‍♂️ Support both internal and external audit requirements.

📈 Planning & Analysis
🔮 Assist the Finance team with budgeting and forecasting.

💡 Learn to interpret financial results and provide useful insights to management.

🔍 Who We’re Looking For

✔️ Essential:
🎓 Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (or near completion).

📈 Strong interest in finance, accounting, and continuous learning.

💻 Good computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems.

⏱️ Ability to plan your work and manage time to meet deadlines.

🗣️ Good communication skills – written and verbal.

👥 Willingness to work as part of a collaborative, supportive team.

✨ Preferred (An advantage, but not mandatory):
💼 Some experience (internship, attachment, or 1–3 years) in:

Accounting / finance

FMCG, consumer packaging, or related industries

Accounts Payable (AP) and/or Accounts Receivable (AR)

📜 Progress toward a professional accounting body membership (e.g., CA/CPA).

🤝 Experience working with auditors, government departments, or key suppliers/customers.
