Official Purveyor to the Royal Court of Versailles in 1780
Dorin is probably one of the oldest perfume and make-up brand in France and in the world. Its history began with a quest for the embellishment of women and men beauty products. Symbol of high standard luxury perfumes, the brand now reveals drop by drop the mysterious secrets of its origins. Founded by Mademoiselle Montansier, a famous French actress and businesswoman directing the plays for the Royal Court of Versailles, Dorin is traditionally commited to create innovative and exceptional fragrances. Appointed Official Purveyor to the Royal Court of Versailles for powders and cosmetics in 1780, the brand continued to thrive in the 19th century. Dorin was granted the highest awards at each International Exhibitions until the brand was appointed Member of the Jury. Dorin pursued its quest for unique fragrances and left its mark on the history of modern perfumes. With the launch of Un Air de Paris Classique in 2007, a reinterpretation of the original 1886 formula, Dorin anounced the return of luxurious historical perfumes to the world stage.
