Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. Miss World is the oldest existing major international beauty pageant. It was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951. Since Morley's death in 2000, his widow, Julia Morley, co-chairs the pageant. Miss Universe is an annual international beauty contest that is run by the Miss Universe Organization.[7][8][9] The contest was founded in 1952 by California clothing company Pacific Mills. The pageant became part of Kayser-Roth and then Gulf+Western Industries, before being acquired by Donald Trump in 1996 and is currently owned by WME/IMG. Miss International, also called "Miss International Beauty" is a Tokyo-based international beauty pageant organized by The International Culture Association. The pageant was first held in 1960. Miss Earth is an annual international environmental-themed beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness organized by Philippine-based Carousel Productions through the Miss Earth Foundation and was first held in 2001. The pageant is affiliated and works on projects with other institutions, including Greenpeace, World Wildlife Foundation, and United Nations Environment Program. Miss Supranational is an annual international beauty pageant created by Gerhard Parzitkavon Lipinski in Poland and organized by Panama-based World Beauty Association (WBA)through the Miss Supranational and was first held in 2009. Miss Grand is an annual international beauty pageant also called as "Miss Grand International created by Nawat Itsaragrisil in Thailand and Miss Grand International was first held in 2013.

PHILIPPINES
Man of the World 2026 Oliver Eugen Kretz of the Philippines made history by becoming the first-ever Filipino winner of the title. He swept multiple special awards during the competition, including Best in Swimwear and Best in Beachwear
Miss Supranational 2026 (Winner): Katrina Llegado of the Philippines won the crown on July 31, 2026, in Nowy Sącz, Poland, marking the country's second-ever Miss Supranational victory.
Mister Cosmopolitan 2026 John Eriq Bonifacio of the Philippines was crowned the grand champion, making history by securing the country's first-ever title in this competition. He also walked away with special awards for Best Catwalk and Best Physique.
MEXICO
Mister International 2026 (Winner): Andrés Briseño of Mexico won the 18th edition of the global male pageant on September 26, 2026, in Bangkok, Thailand. In a symbolic handover, he was crowned by the outgoing 2025 king, Kirk Bondad of the Philippines.
Miss Eco International 2026Palmira Ruiz of Mexico won the primary crown, marking a historic first-time victory for her country at this pageant. She took over the reign from the outgoing 2025 queen, Alexie Brooks of the Philippines.
Fátima Bosch of Mexico was crowned Miss Universe 2025 at the conclusion of the 74th edition of the pageant. The highly anticipated global event took place on November 21, 2025, at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand.
