For 40 years, HRH The Princess Royal has stood behind occupational therapy and the people who practise it, as our Patron since 1986.

In that time, she has undertaken 175 visits across all four nations and the breadth of occupational therapy practice and settings. HRH has launched new services, addressed conferences and celebrated innovation and excellence within the profession.

We're grateful for her support and wish her a wonderful birthday today. 🎂

What’s included?

✓ Parent questionnaires & information gathering
✓ Medical & developmental history
✓ Review of relevant reports and information
✓ Approximately 1 hour of face-to-face clinical assessment and observation
✓ Functional assessment of everyday activities and daily living skills
✓ Consideration of sensory processing, interoception, motor skills, routines and environmental factors where relevant
✓ Clinical and environmental risk considerations where indicated
✓ Professional clinical reasoning and recommendations
✓ Comprehensive written OT report
✓ Personalised recommendations and next steps

The face-to-face assessment is approximately 1 hour, with additional professional time for reviewing information, clinical reasoning, research where required and preparation of the comprehensive report.

With your consent, the report can also be shared with relevant members of your child’s multidisciplinary team and/or educational setting involved in their care, helping everyone work from the same recommendations.
