Natural lash still attached? That one shed naturally. Nothing you could’ve done.

Extension came off on its own? That’s a bond issue.

And when your client comes back for a top-up, don’t judge retention just by the gaps. Gaps are normal — natural lashes shed.

Look at the lashes that are still there.

Some natural lashes will be growing and pushing the extensions further away from the lash line. Others will still be sitting pretty much where you placed them.

So you should expect to see a mix.

If there are lots of gaps but barely anything has grown out… those extensions probably didn’t leave because of the natural lash cycle. 👀
