I wish someone had told me this when I first started in PMU… 🤍

Looking back, it wasn’t just about learning brows and lips.

It was about learning how to market myself, practising until my confidence grew, taking my time with clients, and understanding that qualifying is only the beginning.

The biggest lesson?

✨ Confidence comes from consistency, not perfection.

If you’re at the start of your PMU journey, don’t compare yourself to artists who have been doing this for years. Keep showing up, keep learning, and keep practising. One day you’ll be the experienced artist inspiring someone else.

When clients ask if I can just cover up their big, blocky grey brows… 😅

My professional opinion?

Absolutely not. 😂

Sometimes the best result comes from removing old pigment first and starting with a fresh canvas. Not every set of brows should be covered up and I’d rather be honest than promise something I can’t deliver.
