More than 120 years separate these two moments.

Believed to date from the early 1900s, this historic photograph shows Main Street outside Barrhead’s Burgh Chambers and Court Hall, a landmark that officially opened in 1904. For generations, this building has stood at the heart of the town, witnessing Barrhead’s story unfold.

Today, Paul, founder of Include Me 2 Club, stands in the very same spot. Behind him is the charity’s headquarters in the James McGuire Building, where children, young people and adults with additional support needs and disabilities are supported to build friendships, confidence and opportunities. It’s a powerful reminder that while buildings stand the test of time, it’s the people inside them who create their legacy.
