We handed Hayley and Zoe an at home laser device and asked for their honest thoughts... and honest is exactly what we got.
The verdict? At home gadgets promise a lot, but they can’t assess your skin, choose the right wavelength for your skin tone, or give you the technique and aftercare that actually make laser work. You’re often better off putting that money towards proper treatments in clinic.

Heliocare 360 MD A-R Emulsion, an SPF 50+ made specifically for sensitive skin with a tendency to redness. Broad spectrum protection against UVA, UVB, visible light and infrared, all in a lightweight emulsion that sits beautifully on the skin.
If you’re having laser, IPL, peels or any skin treatments with us, daily SPF isn’t a nice to have, it’s what protects your results and stops new pigmentation and redness creeping in. And this one’s a favourite because it’s gentle enough for reactive skin while still doing the heavy lifting.

We watched an Amazon laser device so you don’t have to, and honestly? You’re often better off putting that £400 towards proper treatments in clinic.
Home devices aren’t one size fits all. The wrong wavelength for your skin tone isn’t just ineffective, it can be unsafe. And like any pro treatment done at home, laser or microneedling, without the right assessment and aftercare, you’re getting a watered down version at best.
