My lady had been box dying her hair for years and wanted to have a change and something that would be low maintenance🫶🏼

After having left her roots for quite a while, we gave her hair a transformation👀

We decided to brighten up the root area with highlights, put some face frame through the front.
Added a root tap to blend the highlighted line out and to give her hair a low maintenance grow out so it can last longer.
We toned and chopped quite a chunk..

This is the result after 4 and 1/2 hours 🤩

✨Babylights are fine, subtle natural looking highlights. A technique to give you a natural blonde and a seamless grow out.

✨They can be low maintenance and need less colour appointments than normal highlights due to the seamless grow out.
They don’t always need to be your bright blondes, you can baby light with any shade that is suitable with your hair colour.

✨To have baby lights it takes longer to apply than normal highlights as each section is fine strands of hair being coloured, which can give you a brighter coverage of blonde.

From shifting a previous red box dye, we’ve been working through the different stages to get to where we are today.

Finally we’ve got to the ash blonde we want 👏🏼

Red colour isn’t the easiest of colours to change and does take a while to get to this stage.

This is our 2nd lightening session and I’m in love with how this has lifted.
My client is aiming for the ash look and I think we have achieved that 🥰

So happy with how this colour came out🫶🏼

From a previous colour of yellow banding and a two toned blonde to a beautiful, blended creamy blonde.
