🤍 DAYS 1–3 | THE INITIAL HEALING PHASE

Your skin may appear red, feel warm or tight, and be a little sensitive. This is part of the initial healing response following treatment.

🤍 DAYS 3–7 | THE SKIN RENEWAL PHASE

As your skin continues to recover, you may notice some dryness, tightness or light flaking. Your skin's moisture balance and barrier can take time to recover, meaning dehydration may temporarily make fine lines appear more noticeable.

Don't be surprised if your skin doesn't look or feel its best just yet! ✨

🤍 DAY 7 AND BEYOND | HYDRATION IS KEY

Even after a week, your skin may still need extra hydration and gentle care, particularly following a more intensive treatment.

Here's how to support your recovery:

💧 Use a gentle cleanser and a nourishing, fragrance-free moisturiser.

💧 Avoid retinol, exfoliating acids and harsh skincare until your skin has fully recovered.

💧 Don't pick or scrub away any flaky skin.

☀️ Protect your skin from UV exposure with suitable broad-spectrum SPF.

🤍 WHEN WILL I SEE MY RESULTS?

Microneedling stimulates your skin's natural repair processes, with collagen remodelling continuing over the following weeks and months.

Be patient with your skin! Temporary dryness and dehydration can affect how your skin looks during recovery, so give it time to settle before judging your results.

Remember, everyone's skin heals differently. If dryness, flaking or increased fine lines persist or worsen, contact your practitioner for advice. Increasing redness, pain, swelling or signs of infection should be assessed promptly.
