So lovely having one of my previous brides back in my chair yesterday! 🤍 Amy-leigh was one of my brides back in August, so it was extra lovely getting to see her again, have a proper catch-up and get her glammed up for her friend’s birthday party.

For her makeup, we went for a gorgeous dark, smoky eye with a soft matte finish and a full, fluffy cat-eye lash — such a stunning combination on her! 🖤

And for her hair… we went for a high messy updo! This was actually Amy-leighs first time ever trying a high updo, and she absolutely loved it — and so did I! I think it suited her SO well and really complemented her features.

She looked absolutely stunning, and I loved creating this look for her!

For Ashleigh’s Tatler awards ball look, the brief was all about creating something that still felt completely her. 🤍

With her naturally curly hair, we wanted to embrace that beautiful texture rather than disguise it, creating a soft, romantic updo with cascading curls falling from the back. Ashleigh wanted as much hair down as possible, with a loose, effortless feel rather than anything too structured or pulled tightly to the head — and I think we achieved that perfectly.

We added a few soft, delicate pieces around her face to keep everything feeling natural, feminine and beautifully undone.

For makeup, Ashleigh wanted the same effortless approach — a soft, natural look with warm brown tones, minimal blush and subtle definition to really make those gorgeous blue eyes pop. 🤎

We were both absolutely delighted with how everything came together, and honestly… how stunning does she look?! 😍

Three high messy buns, three very different hair types. And you can really see how much the length, thickness and texture of the hair can change the overall finish.

A beautiful morning for the most beautiful bride, inside and out. 👰‍♀️

It was such a pleasure being part of Amyleigh’s wedding morning and creating the hair looks for her and her bridal party. We started the morning at the gorgeous Salt House Hotel before making our way to Limepark to finish getting everyone ready for the day.

For her bridal look, Amyleigh chose a statement high ponytail with a delicate fishtail plait. After trying a few different plait options, we decided on something more understated, which complemented the ponytail and her stunning gown perfectly.

And the most incredible part? Every single strand was her own hair. 🤍 Amyleigh had the heaviest bridal hair I’ve worked with to date, and the finished result was truly spectacular.

With such a large bridal party, I was also joined by the lovely Jamielee, who was a huge help with hair prep throughout the morning. I also had the pleasure of working alongside the incredibly talented , who created all of the beautiful makeup looks.

Amyleigh, thank you for trusting me with such an important part of your wedding day. It was a joy to spend the morning with you and your girls, and you looked absolutely breathtaking.
