A little message for October… 🍂
I sat down with my cards this morning and asked:
“What do we need to hear as we step into October?”
And I pulled The Emperor.

Of course I bloody did. 😂

So apparently we're not wafting gently into October hoping everything sorts itself out. Noted.

The Emperor is very much about taking your seat, making decisions and remembering that, while we absolutely cannot control everything going on around us, we can decide what we do with what's in front of us.
Where are you putting your energy?
What are you saying yes to when you'd really quite like to say no?
Is there something you've been putting off because you're waiting to feel completely ready, for somebody else's approval, or for the stars to align perfectly?
(They rarely bloody do.)

Maybe October isn't asking us to have everything figured out.
Maybe it's simply asking us to stop handing our power over to everything and everyone around us, trust ourselves a little more, and decide what our next move is.

There are so many reasons why we might feel drawn to a reading.

Can I tell you one of the things I love about my job?

No two people come through my door needing exactly the same thing.

Some of you climb onto the couch, close your eyes and barely say another word until I tell you it's time to turn over. 😂

Some of you talk for the entire treatment.

Some of you start with “I'm fine, it's just my shoulders...” and half an hour later we've covered work, relationships, your mother, something that happened fifteen years ago and possibly the meaning of life. 😂

And I genuinely love all of it.

After more than 25 years of doing this, I've never believed that a treatment should feel like something being done *to* you while I work my way through a standard routine.

I want to know what *you* need that day.

That might be firmer work on an aching back.

It might be warmth, quiet and an hour where nobody wants anything from you.
