Good evening.
Just a quick heads up for anyone due in over the next few days. My hay fever is horrendous at the moment and it's caused a pretty nasty cough which has got really bad over the last 24 hours.
Unfortunately it's far too hot for me to wear a mask so if anyone is in tomorrow and doesn't feel comfortable with this then please message me asap to rearrange.
If I get much worse over night then I will be in touch with everyone.

Just a quick message regarding the temperatures in the shop.

As you're aware, the shop is like a greenhouse! There is no backdoor to allow a breeze to travel through and the fan is circulating the rooms hot air.
Unfortunately there is a possibility that when the temperature hits 30+ over the coming weeks I will have to cancel all clients that day.

I've been in the shop 15 minutes and I already feel incredibly sick. The heat is far too much for me to cope with.

I will be in touch if I need to cancel.

A little update for all of my lovely clients ❤️

Firstly, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who continues to support my business over the last 11 years. I am incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. Some of you have been along side me since the very beginning of my hair journey 16 years ago!

As many of you know, I am now balancing my hair business alongside my photography business, which has grown significantly and requires much more of my time. Because of this, I have had to make the difficult decision to reduce hair appointments quite considerably.

I am almost fully booked for the next couple of months with very limited availability remaining, which I have to save for my regular clients. Moving forward, I will not be taking on any new clients, including those who I have not seen in 6 months or more. With my availability becoming more limited, I need to prioritise my regular clients.

Over the coming months, I will be reducing my salon hours even further. This also means that my Saturdays will be significantly reduced, and I will only be working occasional weekends. If you currently rely on Saturday appointments then these will need to be made in advance going forward so that all my Saturday clients are able to attend the same weekend which will be every 5, 6 weeks or so. These dates are to be confirmed.

I completely understand that these changes may not suit everyone, but I hope you can appreciate that I am trying to find the best balance between both businesses without having to give up one business for the other.

I wanted to share a quick update about my pricing.

As many of you know, I’ve been balancing both hairdressing and my photography work over the past few years. Trying to manage both has made me really look at my time and how I run my business, and I’ve realised that my current pricing just isn’t sustainable for me anymore. It hasn't been sustainable for many years but I've tried so hard to avoid price increases yearly.

I really don’t want to be in a position where I have to give up one business for the other, as I love both, so this is a change I need to make to create a better balance and continue doing both.

From May 1st, my prices will be increasing.
There will be a £4 increase on all colour services and a £2 increase on all other services.
Foiling work will vary on time allocated.

This change will allow me to continue offering appointments in a way that feels manageable.
I truly appreciate all of your support over the years and I’m so grateful for the lovely clients I’ve built relationships with 🤍

I've had quite a lot of messages saying they can't get through to anyone by phone and the shop looks shut.
I have been closed all week due to illness. It's also caused me to have severe migraines so I haven't been responding to many messages.

Feeling much better today compared to the last few days so hopefully back to normal for Saturday.

I have also not been able to answer the phone alot of the time since last week due to having absolutely no voice! I physically couldn't talk so have been unable to answer the phone or respond to voicemails.
I am still working but will be wearing a mask until I feel better.

Good evening. I'm very delayed with messages and my working hours are all over the place at the minute.
I've had a very poorly baby suffering from awful eczema for months. He's now battling through an ear and throat infection aswell as suspected chicken pox. To top it all off my eldest has now got chicken pox aswell.

Thank you for baring with me. I will get through messages over the next few days but you may have to wait longer than normal for your appointment. Two kiddies off nursery and multiple hospital appointments over the next couple of weeks isn't making things easy 💕

I am so sorry for the delay in responding to messages, but please bare with me as it's been a crazy couple of months in my personal life.
I had a tooth pulled out a few weeks ago, I've also been floored with a sickness bug and I am mentally and physically drained from Arthur's colic which is still ongoing unfortunately.
I am really struggling to find a routine and unable to work full days because of this.
If you are still waiting on an appointment please send another message so I know where I'm at.
I'm getting through my lists as quick as possible but I've had alot of set backs!
