Nope.

Dermal filler is temporary. If you decide not to maintain it, the treated area gradually returns towards its natural appearance as the product breaks down.

Having filler also doesn't mean you need to keep adding more and more.

In fact, one of the things I’m quite strict about is knowing when not to add more.

My aim with filler is never to keep chasing size or trends. I look at your anatomy, proportions and what you actually want to change and sometimes my recommendation is to leave things exactly as they are.

Good aesthetics should still look like you.

I’m not interested in creating insecurities just to turn them into appointments.

I’m interested in honest advice, realistic results, and treatments that actually make sense for you.

Sometimes that means recommending filler, skin treatments or a skincare plan.

Sometimes it means suggesting something simpler.

And sometimes it means telling you that the best thing to do is… nothing at all.

That might make me a terrible salesperson.

But I think it makes me a better practitioner.

"I had a facial and skin booster done at Astral Aesthetics today and to be honest, the experience was shockingly bad!

No steam or hot towels, no warm welcome or blankets, no soft spa music. She just shoved some products at me and told me to get on with it. I asked if I'd get her legendary facial massage but she just ignored me.

Then, the so-called therapist was squinting at me and muttering while jabbing at my skin with a needle. No comforting words or asking if I was okay. She held my head in awkward positions and felt every poke.

Not only did the appointment last longer than it should have, I even had to tidy up afterwards!!

But, my skin is glowing and I didn't even bruise. So:

Would I recommend her? - Yes
Would I go back? - Also yes".

Because the therapist was me. 🤣

This was a technically challenging treatment with an outstanding result and my client was really pleased to see more of his upper lip.

The aim wasn’t to create oversized lips or dramatically change his face. It was to carefully balance the lips while keeping the result natural and masculine.

Every set of lips is different, which is why I don’t use the same technique or treatment plan for everyone. A consultation allows us to discuss what you would like to improve, what is realistically achievable and whether filler is the right option for you.

I won’t tell you that you 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 filler/tox.

You may ask me, “What do I need doing?”
And sometimes my honest answer will be: 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠.

Aesthetic treatments are optional. They should never be presented as something you need in order to look acceptable, attractive or “better.”

I also won’t:

• Recommend a treatment just because you’ve asked for it
• Promise results that a treatment is unlikely to achieve
• Keep treating an area simply because you can still see a tiny imperfection
• Encourage you to chase perfect symmetry
• Suggest more product when less would give a better result
• Treat skin that needs calming, healing or medical advice first
• Sell you an expensive treatment when skincare or a simpler option may help more
• Point out concerns you hadn’t noticed and try to turn them into insecurities
• Pressure you into booking on the day

Sometimes I will:

-recommend a different treatment.
-suggest improving your skincare first.
-explain that the result you want may not be achievable.

That isn’t me turning away business.

It’s me doing my job properly.

My role is not to search your face for flaws. It’s to listen to what is bothering you, assess you honestly and help you make an informed decision without pressure.

You should leave a consultation feeling understood, not insecure or pressured.

My client didn't like the lines around her upper and lower mouth area and how she "looked sad" all the time.
