💚 Sometimes the biggest transformations aren’t just about the skin… they’re about confidence.

One of my lovely clients came to me feeling really self-conscious about the visible veins on her face. Because of her job, she spends a lot of time driving and being out in the sun, so we agreed that the safest option would be to wait until after the summer before starting treatment.

At her consultation, we talked through everything in detail. I explained how IPL works, what results she could realistically expect, the possible risks and the aftercare needed to keep her skin safe. We completed a patch test first to make sure the treatment was suitable before creating a personalised treatment plan.

Throughout her course of treatments, I checked in regularly to make sure she was comfortable, gave her breaks whenever she needed them and cooled her skin afterwards to help soothe the treated area. I also checked in 48 hours after every appointment to make sure everything was healing well and to answer any questions.

Alongside her treatments, we talked about skincare and the importance of protecting her skin with SPF, especially with the amount of time she spends outdoors.

After six treatments, the visible veins had disappeared, her skin tone was much more even and, most importantly, she felt so much more confident.

Moments like this remind me why I love what I do.

Treatments are important, but seeing someone leave feeling happier and more confident in their own skin is always the best part.
