Some people might think £200 + for a 4/5 hour appointment sounds expensive, but with lived in colour every foil placement is intentional and thought out, to give you luxury, expensive looking Hair without the maintenance, so think if you were having your hair done every six weeks for £90 over a year that's nearly £800, whereas with lived in colour, most people are twice a year, and their hair looks better for longer!

Sometimes people think £200 for a 4/5 hour appointment sounds a lot, but the difference is you are having over 6 months of luxury, expensive looking Hair without the maintenance, think about if you were to have your hair done every 6 weeks for £90 a time that works out nearly £800 every year, whereas twice a year at £200 is half that, and you don't have to book the time off work to have your hair done, with lived in colour, every foil placement is intentional and thought out to make sure your hair looks it's best for as long as possible.

Sometimes the best way to achieve your dream blonde is by taking a step back first.

This lovely client had previously been having high strength bleach highlights, but over time she noticed more and more damage and found the regrowth looked harsh much sooner than she’d like.

Our goal? Keep her blonde, but in a way that’s kinder to her hair and lower maintenance.

So today we:
Added lowlights 7NW, 8N&8G Redken shades EQ, with Redken IQ lightener on10vol to create depth and break up the solid blonde.
. Avoided overlapping any previous bleach.
. Lifted no higher than a level 10 on 10vol bleach to protect the integrity of her hair.
. Finished with a root shadow of 8n& 10Gi and gloss toner 10vg, 10GI, 10NV to soften the overall look and create a much more seamless grow-out.
Healthy hair must always be priority over excessive bleaching.

I rarely use permanent colour with lived in colour, but for this client it was absolutely the right choice.
We needed reliable grey coverage. We also wanted to soften her naturally very dark base (a base break), creating a lighter, more blended result.

Using permanent colour allowed me to achieve both in one step, giving her softer regrowth and a more seamless overall colour.

I first went in with the base 7 to lift her roots, followed with my usual techniques for a lived in finish.
