Using ChatGPT for tattoo inspiration can be SO useful — but there’s a knack to getting something actually helpful out of it.

In Episode 1, I’m showing you a prompt you can use to ask ChatGPT for different size options for your tattoo idea. This is particularly handy when you have a design in mind but have absolutely no idea how big it should be!

⚠️ BUT — and this is important: AI is for INSPIRATION, not a tattoo blueprint.

Don’t get your heart set on the exact design ChatGPT gives you. Your tattoo artist will take your ideas, references and inspiration and then use their own experience, artistic style and knowledge of tattooing to create something that actually works on your skin.

Something that looks perfect on a screen might not translate well at a tiny size, may need simplifying, or might need completely reworking to age and heal properly.

Think of ChatGPT as a way to get the ideas out of your head and onto paper — then let your artist do what you’re paying them for. ✨

This delicate fine-line collarbone piece was designed to sweep naturally across both sides of the chest, following the shape of the body with soft trailing vines and leaves.

Using a mixture of crisp black linework and soft grey-wash shading, we created something feminine, elegant and beautifully balanced — with just enough detail to make an impact without overpowering such a delicate area.

Joshua’s December birth flower, the delicate narcissus, paired with Zach’s November chrysanthemum — their names gently incorporated into the stems to create a design completely unique to Mum.
