Hello, I’m Lillie, the owner and artist behind That Edge Effect 🤎

With my new branding, my return from maternity leave and lots of new faces here, I thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself.

I’ve lived in Brighton my whole life and now feel incredibly lucky to live right on the seafront, where you’ll also find my private studio. Creating a beautiful, calm space by the sea for my clients has always been a dream.

Creativity has always been a huge part of who I am. Before beauty, I worked as a bespoke tailor, where precision, patience and attention to detail were everything. Those skills have shaped the way I work today.

When I was made redundant during lockdown, I finally took the leap and built the business I’d always dreamed of. Since starting my training in 2021, I’ve continued to invest in advanced education so I can offer beautiful, natural results across Semi Permanent Makeup, Brow Lamination and Lash Lifts.

This year has brought my biggest blessing yet, becoming a mama to my beautiful daughter, Dottie Darling. Motherhood has given me an even greater appreciation for confidence, self-care and taking time for yourself, and I’m so excited to be returning to the studio doing what I love while balancing this new chapter of life.

If you’ve visited before, you’ll probably know Rodney, my English Bulldog. He’s part of the Studio Edge Effect experience and has become a firm favourite with my clients.

Above all, my goal has always been to create a space where you feel relaxed, cared for and leave feeling like the best version of yourself.

To everyone who has supported me over the years, thank you. Your loyalty means more than you’ll ever know, and I can’t wait to welcome both familiar and new faces into this exciting new chapter.

After taking some precious time to soak up every moment with my darling daughter, I’m so excited to be returning to the studio and welcoming you all back.

Appointments will be limited as I ease back into work and balance this beautiful new chapter, so thank you in advance for your patience and support.

My booking system is now open with my current availability. I can’t wait to catch up with all my gorgeous clients, create beautiful results, and get back to doing what I truly love.

And… I hope you love the rebrand as much as I do. It felt like the perfect time for a fresh new look to mark this new chapter, and I can’t wait to share it all with you.

I just wanted to come on here and say a huge thank you for all the love on our lovely news.

Our little baby girl is due on 24th May, and I’ll be working right up until she decides to make her appearance into the world.

I’m currently still working Wednesdays and Saturdays, and once she arrives I’m planning to take around 6–8 weeks off before returning 2 days a week.

If you’d like to keep your brows and lashes looking fresh while I’m on maternity leave, please make sure you’re booking your appointments in advance so we can time them perfectly.
