Hair and makeup designed and applied by myself on another grad film .
The brief was to make the main character look distressed and tired throughout the story line which i think was very successful.
Was a pleasure to work with this team, loved every minute 🫶🏽

One of my favourite looks I designed for .shortfilm. This look was inspired by the metallic costume and wanted to bring a 2000s aesthetic to the look.

To make this synthetic wig look more modern for the project, I used semi-permanent dye to create a balayage effect and a money piece section.
This was left to dry completely before washing of and trimming the frayed wefts away.

This 90s bouncy blow dry inspired wig was styled by using wide metal rollers and using the wig oven to set the synthetic hair in place. Combing this with back combing on set the vision was accomplished.

This wig is my little baby.
So much time and effort went into trying to create a bleach effect in a synthetic wig. The process consisted of plucking the ginger wefts from the lace front and replacing it with knotted blonde strands.
The wig was then set to provide volume in a new styled parting and applied on set.

I designed, styled and applied 5 different wigs as well as designing 6 different makeup looks for the main character.
Couldn’t have done it without the help of .s777 as my director, as producer and .hairandmakeup for all the support through this module.
Sad it’s over but excited for new opportunities.

My take on creating a latex mask for a casualty simulation. The vision for this brief was to create a mask for a casualty dummy that had experienced a burn and been having treatment for a long period of time.
Made by creating a face life cast and using modelling clay to create the dimension and texture before laying multiple layers of latex over.

I have recently found my collection of lashes generously donated by my lovely nanny who manufactures the superdrug own lashes!!!

These usually retail for about £2.50 a pack but i’m selling them for 10 for £5!!!! with a few extra bonuses popped in for an extra £2
