One of the biggest misconceptions about permanent makeup is that it lasts forever.
In reality, that would be great although as our skin changes and we age we may need adjusting the colour, so maybe its great that it doesn’t last forever!
Your skin is constantly renewing itself, and over time the pigment naturally softens and fades. Lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare products and your individual skin all play a part.
That's why colour boost appointments are so important. They're not about starting again. They're about refreshing your existing brows, lips or eyeliner so they continue to look soft, natural and beautifully defined.

Does permanent makeup hurt?
This is probably the question I'm asked more than any other!
The honest answer is... everyone experiences it differently.
Most clients are pleasantly surprised.
We all have different pain thresholds, and factors such as stress, tiredness or simply how you're feeling on the day can all influence how a treatment feels.
Before we begin, I always make sure you're as comfortable and relaxed as possible, and throughout the appointment I'll check in with you to ensure you're feeling okay.
The vast majority of my clients tell me afterwards...
"Oh... it really wasn't as bad as I expected!"
I've even had a few who have fallen asleep during treatment! 😴
Very often, the worry beforehand is far greater than the treatment itself.
If you're feeling nervous, please don't let that stop you from asking questions. I'm always happy to talk you through the process, explain what to expect and help you feel completely at ease before we begin.
